Vietnam's 435m-span cable-stayed Bai Chay Bridge is on course for completion in early September following the concreting of the final section. The 901m-long bridge over the Cua Luc Straits in Ha Long will be the world's longest centrally-supported concrete cable-stayed bridge. The US$135m crossing is supported from two 140m-high towers.
