At least one person has been killed and eight more injured by a major structural collapse at the site of an elevated road being built in Mumbai, India.
Local reports say that the collapse happened during installation of a deck section for the viaduct. The structure is part of the Eastern Freeway, a 16.8km route due to open next year to link the south of the city to the eastern suburbs.
