The US Department of Transportation has signed a record of decision for the St Croix River Crossing, clearing the way for progress on the long-planned bridge. The crossing between Washington County, Minnesota, and St Croix County, Wisconsin, was chosen in 2002 to be part of a scheme to streamline environmental approvals.
