BRIDGE MAINTENANCE DIVISION ENGINEER

Dbi Services, LLC, a leading Highway Maintenance Contractor  is seeking a qualified Bridge Maintenance PE  with a minimum of seven years technical bridge working experience, including but  not limited to  maintenance, estimating/cost budgeting, operations oversight.  US DOT bridge relationships, tunnel maintenance and bridge inspection experience a plus.

The qualified candidate must be detailed oriented, organized, have good computer, math  and communication skills.

Senior Bridge Engineers required

Senior Bridge Engineers required.

We are seeking to recruit two Senior Engineers with a keen interest in the fabrication and erection of steel bridge superstructures. The successful candidates will be working for the UK’s leading steel bridge designer, which specialises in the design, fabrication, and erection of a variety of high value one-off turn-key projects

The Senior Bridge Engineers will be an integral part of the company providing technical support to all the engineering activities at our Client’s UK manufacturing facility.

This will include:

  • Managing and participating in the bridge design of temporary works and the preparation of erection schemes.
  • Taking a leading role in continuous improvement efforts
  • Sales advice, value engineering, design development, modeling
  • Production engineering, production tolerances, and temporary works design.
  • Liaise with Clients on their design and requirements
  • Acting as mentor and coach for less experienced engineering staff.
  • Contributing to value engineering advice given to clients.
The ideal candidates should have experience in the design and construction of steel bridges, a good degree in Civil Engineering or be working towards a chartered membership of the ICE or IStructE (or equivalent).
