Our Client is a professional support services group, helping clients to deliver better services to customers and communities. Their activities include the management of road networks, public buildings, rail infrastructure, homes, schools and utilities. Their combination of commercial and technical expertise enables those we work with to improve their strategy, services, people and asset management. This is a role for someone who can take responsibility for his own work and contribute to the team effort.

Activities will include undertaking bridge engineering tasks, including assessments, design, preparation of construction details, assisting in forward financial and operational planning, liaising with clients to ensure the projects meet their requirements and preparing information for deliverables and ensuring they conform to standards.

You will be actively seeking innovations and service improvements and ensuring that work complies with quality and environmental management standards. For this important role you will have a Masters degree in civil engineering (or equivalent) and be working towards becoming a chartered engineer. You will have working knowledge of industry standard software such as LUSAS, knowledge of CDM regulations and experience of tender document preparation.
