Dubai announces record-breaking arch bridge

Dubai Creek is to be crossed by the world's longest arch bridge, the Roads & Traffic Authority has announced.
The 1600m-long, 12-lane Sixth Crossing will have a 667m-long arch section, standing 205m high. It will also carry the Dubai Metro. Cost of the project is put at US$817 million. It will take four years to build.
