Tendering is to start soon for a third bridge over the Klang River in Malaysia. Designs for the US$72 million project have been completed and work is due to start in four months and take two and a half years, said works minister Datuk Seri S Samy Vellu.
The scheme, which will form part of the Klang Ring Road, involves the construction of a 0.5km-long bridge together with associated roads. A fourth bridge over the river is also planned.
