Rautaruukki scoops Swedish steel supply contract

Skanska has appointed Rautaruukki to supply and install the steel superstructure of the Partihallsförbindelsen Bridge in Gothenburg, Sweden. The contract is valued at about US$14 million. The 1.2km bridge is part of a Swedish Road Administration highway scheme. Ruukki will work in close cooperation with main contractor Skanska and designer Ramböll. Steel delivery and installation are scheduled for 2009 to 2010. |
