Work moves to final section of new Memorial Bridge
Published:  August 15, 2008

Crews from Total Construction have almost completed removal of the west approach to the old Liberty Memorial Bridge in North Dakota, USA. This has allowed Lunda Construction and J&L Steel to begin work on the west approach for the new bridge.

Pile driving is under way for the approach to the new 722m-long bridge and the first pier is due to be poured next week.

The bridge has six spans over the river, plus five spans on the west approach and three to the east.
