Grontmij Carl Bro wins Ethiopian contracts

The Ethiopian Road Directorate has awarded four road and bridge contracts to Grontmij Carl Bro working in co-operation with a local Ethiopian firm. The work includes planning and supervision of two bridges over the Awash River. The existing concrete bridges were built in 1971 and Grontmij Carl Bro will be preparing rehabilitation proposals as well as presenting suggestions for two new bridges. The company has been operating in Ethiopia since 1996 and has had a permanent office there since 2000.
