Washington starts tender process for SR520 bridge

Washington State Department of Transportation in the USA has issued a request for qualifications for the design and contruction of pontoons for the replacement of a floating bridge carrying the SR520 highway. The project requires design and construction of more than 30 pontoons with lengths up to 110m, as well as provision of the casting facility and associated works. The project value is estimated at between US$300 million and US$500 million.
