Design concepts released for Brent Spence Bridge

A cable-stayed bridge with a single tower is one of a dozen concepts for the Brent Spence Bridge.

Twelve preliminary bridge design concepts have been unveiled for the new double-decker Brent Spent Bridge linking Kentucky and Ohio across the Ohio River in the USA.

The project's aesthetics committee is seeking feedback in order to narrow the options down to six, which will then be analysed in the next step of the selection.

The options include various truss, arch and cable-stayed designs.

Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas is the project's consultant.
