Ohio to replace Jeremiah Morrow Bridge
Published:  July 07, 2010

The US state of Ohio is starting a US$88 million project to replace its tallest bridge, the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge.

The 45-year-old crossing is made up of a pair of parallel deck truss bridges and is continuous over five spans for its 700m length. It has clearance of 73m above the Little Miami River. Structural deterioration has led to restrictions preventing heavy trucks from using the bridge.
