The municipality, in the northwest of the Netherlands, falls into three zones: urban, rural and western coastal zone. so ipv Delft created three appropriate fencing variants. These can be teamed with decks made from common construction materials.

The system is flexible, but the design manual will facilitate decision-making when replacing the region’s 250 bicycle and pedestrian bridges or when creating new structures. This approach is becoming more common in the Netherlands.
