The UK-based company will supply bridges that can extend to 50m over land or water and can bear the weight of the Challenger 3 tank. The bridges will also allow interoperability with NATO. They are based on KNDS UL’s Dry Support Bridge design, and replace BR90 ABLE.

The contract is part of Project TYRO, which aims to improve the Army’s mobility over gaps in terrain.
