Tenders have been released for roads and bridges supporting a mountain reservoir project in South Africa.

The Lesotho Highland Development Agency (LHDA) has released eight contracts for design and construction supervision of six vehicle bridges, four pedestrian bridges and 94.2km of roads.

The work is a mix of upgrades and new builds. It will improve communications between villages surrounding the new Polihali Reservoir in the Maluti Mountains of Lesotho. The Polihali Dam that forms the reservoir is under construction.

The bid submission deadline is 6 February 2024. The tender documents (link opens in new tab) can be viewed on the LHDA website.
