Czech national rail operator Správa železnic has selected a contractor to build a new bridge to take the Celákovice to Neratovice line across the D10 Highway.

Under the US$6.5 million contract, Eurovia CZ will replace the old reinforced concrete bridge with a new arched steel structure. The bridge will have one 68m span – wide enough to allow future expansion of the highway to three lanes each way. The project will also modify 400m of railway track, allowing trains to travel at greater speeds over the crossing.
