The Roma Point bridge, which connects an island in the Philippines with the rest of Calabarzon, is now 42% complete according to an update from Department of Public Works and Highways. Contractor on the project is MG Lualhati Construction Corporation.

Construction of the 2.17km bridge over Lamon Bay has reached the 20th and 21st piers, out of 37. Completion is due in 2028 and the bridge will have two lanes of carriageway as well as bike lanes on both sides and a pedestrian lane.

The bridge will give people living on the islands of Alabat, Quezon and Perez access to the town of Lopez/Calauag with its schools and hospitals, saving them a 45-minute ferry journey.
