Tender for investigation of ageing South Australia bridge

A concrete arch bridge in danger of deteriorating to an unsafe level if not upgraded needs a structural investigation.

Adelaide City Council has responded by releasing a tender for a level 3 structural investigation and renewal options analysis of Adelaide Bridge. The data will inform the council as it decides whether to repair, renew or replace the heritage concrete arch bridge, which was completed in 1931.
