The conference is hosted by Southeast University and Mao Yi-sheng Science & Technology & Education Foundation.

Conference topics will cover a wide range of issues relating to historic bridges, including structural types and construction techniques; achievements in art, architecture and culture; preservation technologies; and policies for maintenance and preservation. The feasibility and strategy for Chinese historic bridges to be included on the World Heritage List will also be discussed.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 30 June and the full manuscripts will be required by 31 August. The conference takes place on 6 and 7 November. Details from Deng Wenping, email: wind8551001@163.com.
