Specific funding for individual bridges includes US$70 million for upgrading the Avon River Bridge in Victoria, US$139 million for a bridge and connector roads on the Kwinana Freeway in Western Australia and funding for the planning of an additional crossing of the Shoalhaven River in New South Wales.
Other transport allocations include US$14.7 billion for a national rail programme and US$6.3bn for an inland rail link between Melbourne and Brisbane.
