The bridges have been commissioned by the built for the US Army Transportation Corps at Fort Eustis. They will have spans of 24.4m and 12.2m, with load rating capacities of 130t. This surpasses the capacity of of previoius Axiom bridges that have been built at Fort Bragg and can support loads of 73t for tracked vehicles and 88t for wheeled vehicles.

The material used is made from virtually 100% recycled consumer and industrial plastics. It is described by chief executive officer James Kerstein as non-toxic, inert and lasting significantly longer than creosote-treated wooden cross-ties in a manner that is eco-friendly and nearly maintenance-free.
