It will be working as a a subconsultant to Community Transportation Solutions (CTS), made up of Parsons Transportation Group, Beam, Longest & Neff and Haworth-Meyer-Boleyn Professional Engineers.

Under the two-year, US$5.4 million contract, Baker will provide technical design reviews for and on behalf of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). This includes reviews primarily for a new three-tower cable-stay bridge on Interstate 65 over the Ohio River, geotechnical review for all structures, electronic project review tracking, and other reviews and related services.

Previously, Baker had participated in the bridge-type selection process and preliminary design of the bridge, and assisted the KYTC with the development of the design-build request for proposals and project requirements.
