Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in the USA has awarded Michael Baker Jr an engineering services contract for the SR 579 Veterans/Crosstown Boulevard Bridge Preservation Project in Pittsburgh.
The project scope includes rehabilitation and preservation work for 12 existing bridge structures including the main spans of the Veterans Bridge over the Allegheny River.
Under the US$2 million agreement, Baker and its team of sub-consultants will provide services including inspection, field surveys, structural analysis and rehabilitation design.
