The UK Ministry of Defence has unveiled the first of a new range of engineering tanks. Titan is said to be the fastest bridge-layer in the world, capable of bridging a 26m gap in two minutes whilst maintaining full protection for its crew. The Royal Engineers will be receiving 33 Titans and 33 Trojan mine-clearing units under a US$475 million contract with BAE Systems.
