The California Transportation Commission in the USA has allocated US$1.7 billion in funding for transportation projects including a new bridge over the Petaluma River.
Funding of almost $82 million was approved for the new bridge on US Route 101 in Sonoma County, along with a new interchange, frontage roads, and ramp metering.
Also approved was US$29.7m to build a new interchange and frontage roads elsewhere on US Route 101.
