A joint venture of GA & FC Wagman and RE Pierson Construction has won a US$251 million contract to replace two drawbridges on Route 52 in the US state of New Jersey.
The new crossings will have high, fixed spans that will allow the passage of boats without the need stop road traffic and open the bridges. The contract also includes rebuilding the road between Somers Point and Ocean City.
Work is expected to start next month, for completion in late 2012.
