Romanian and Bulgarian government ministers have fixed on August for the signing of an agreement covering cross border issues including the planned bridge over the Danube linking Vidin and Calafat. The bridge will carry both road and rail. The tender for the project's execution is due to be opened on 15 September and the planned start for construction is May or June next year.
