Wagenborg Nedlift has been carrying out assembly work for a wooden bridge over the new A7 highway in the Netherlands. The complete superstructure will be positioned on its foundations next week.

Six heavy mobile cranes ranging from 200t to 500t worked together to place the 120t wooden bows onto the wooden deck. Placement of the 320t structure will take place on the night of the 21/22 November in an operation involving 192 wheels of self-propelled modular transporter trailers.

This is the second wooden bridge to be built over the highway, following completion of the first in 2008.
