A three-year scheme announced by Network Rail will allow contractor Palmers ThyssenKrupp to accelerate its current restoration work on Scotland's Tay Bridge.
The work involves stripping the steelwork and recoating it.
The contractor will increase the number of people employed from 25 to 100. Restoration of the 3.2km bridge is expected to be completed by 2016.
