Aecon Construction & Materials Ltd has won a US$17.8 million contract to replace the southbound Vernon Lakes Narrow Bridge in the Canadian province of Ontario.
Completion is due before the end of 2010. Client for the scheme is the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.
The project is part of US$8.6 billion committed by Ontario's government to roads and bridges since 2003.
