Sterling Construction’s California affiliate Myers & Sons Construction is the apparent low bidder on a US$30.5 million bridge construction project for Caltrans.
The project, which entails building three small bridges to connect Oakland to the new Bay Bridge, is projected to start in April 2012 and continue through to the end of 2014.
“We are pleased to construct the last contract of the new Bay Bridge connecting San Francisco to Oakland,” said Sterling’s chairman and CEO Patrick Manning.
