Construction has started of a 295m-long bridge over the Hong River between the Lao Chi province in Vietnam and China's Yunnan province. Building the Kim Thanh Bridge follows February's signing of an agreement between the two governments. Both Vietnamese and Chinese companies are working on the construction.
