Plaine Commune Grand Paris has awarded the design-build contract to a consortium of Freyssinet, Lavigne & Cheron Architects, Quadric, Xtreee and LafargeHolcim.
The 40m footbridge’s deck will be entirely made of 3D-printed structural concrete. The project, which will be built using 3D-printing technology developed by Xtreee, is targeting a 60% reduction in concrete consumption compared to conventional structures.
