Italian construction group Rizzani de Eccher has started launching girders for the Tabellout Viaduct, Algeria, in the presence of the local authorities and client Algerian Highways (ADA).

The viaduct crosses a lake formed by the Tabellout dam in north-eastern Algeria. Rizzani will use a 200m launching bed to install segments weighing up to 160t over spans of up to 12m.
Others involved in the project include SPIC, Gico Maghreb, DEAL and TENSA.
