The US$144 million contract to rehabilitate the Triborough Bridge in New York has been awarded to a joint venture of American Bridge Company and Koch Skanska. The work, which includes the complete redecking of the 830m main span suspension bridge and the widening of the approach viaduct will be completed in eight stages over a period of 39 months.
