The Kane County Division of Transportation has awarded Baker Engineering a US3.4 million contract for the final design of the Fox River Bridge, the signature section of a project to improve the Stearns Road corridor in the US state of Illinois.
Baker's 18-month contract includes conceptual and final design for both the main bridge and a pedestrian bridge, as well as public involvement coordination and road design.
