Michael Baker Jr has been awarded a two-part contract, worth an estimated US$2.7 million, to complete environmental investigations and both preliminary and final design for the new Vrooman Road Bridge over the Grand River in Lake County, Ohio.
The project will draw on work carried out in a planning study that Baker helped complete last year. Extensive public involvement will guide the selection of the structure type and alignment.
The work is expected to take two-and-a-half years to complete.
