The Bermuda government said in its budget on Friday that is considering a public-private partnership to replace the hurricane-damaged Causeway.
Cost of a new causeway bridge is put at up to US$90 million.
The government's structures section will progress the required geotechnical investigation for the new crossing and will oversee the required environmental impact study.
