The charity which manages the Millennium Bridge in London is keen to hear from people involved in the development and construction of the Thames footbridge as it celebrates the crossing’s 25th anniversary.
The Millennium Bridge, which crosses the Thames between St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tate Modern art gallery, opened in 1998, and was famously temporarily closed shortly after because it developed a wobble.

City Bridge Foundation is a 900-year-old charity that owns five bridges over the Thames. It is collecting personal accounts of the Millennium Bridge and would like to hear from designers, engineers and construction workers involved in the build, as well as members of the public who have a Millennium Bridge story to share. The charity will use the memories in its celebrations.
Anyone with memories of the Millennium Bridge project is encouraged to contact City Bridge Foundation by emailing stephanie.keating@citybridgefoundation.org.uk, including details of their involvement
