The experience includes an extended tour of the whole structure, including points of interest along the deck and a visit to one of the main cable anchorage chambers. The highlight of the tour is a visit to the top of one of the main towers, ascending by lift and ladder.

The auction is for places for two people. Trips must be taken during the Forth Road Bridge open week on 13, 14, 15 or 16 June 2011.
