Site work has begun for a new arch bridge spanning the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton, Canada.
Acciona/Pacer Joint Venture was awarded the primary bridge construction contract at the end of May.
This year’s work includes excavating and building the large underground thrust blocks needed to support the bridge arches. The arches will be constructed and erected on the south side of the river next year.
