Granite’s work for California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) on the rehabilitation of State Route 99 will start with the construction management phase, which is valued at US$3 million.

The project will reconstruct about 5km of roadway with concrete pavement and is designed to alleviate traffic backups in downtown Fresno by improving interchange configurations, adding extra lanes and increasing shoulder widths.
