Their design is for a single-pylon cable-stayed bridge called 'Gemma Regalis'.

“An undeniable merit is that the bridge does not break the seascape very much thanks to the open space underneath it, said deputy mayor Pekka Sauri, who chaired the jury. "The bridge bends beautifully and lightly across the water of
Kruunuvuorenselkä."

The organisers said that all the shortlisted entries were high-class. The evaluation criteria were usability, durability and aesthetics.

Joint second place went to entries from Ove Arup & Partners International and Pontec Consulting Engineers. In total, 11 entries had been shortlisted.

The bridge is intended to provide a link from the city centre to the Kruunuvuorenranta area, which is being developed around a former oil harbour. No decision has yet been made on the implementation of a connection; the purpose of the competition was to determine what kind of bridge solutions would be feasible.
