Tomorrow is the deadline for the submission of queries about a design competition for Hong Kong's Cross Bay Link. The queries will be answered by next week and entries to the competition are then due in between 31 August to 10 September.
The 1.8km structure is intended to be a landmark in Tseung Kwan O. It will mainly be on viaduct and will carry a dual two-lane carriageway, cycle track and footpath across Junk Bay.
The competition is organised by Hong Kong's Civil Engineering & Development Department and will be judged by a seven-member jury assisted by a technical committee that includes representatives of the Highways Department and Ove Arup & Partners Hong Kong.
