Installation took place today of the first of 86 steel sections that will form a 1.2km cycle and pedestrian bridge spanning Turning Point Basin in Rochester, USA. A Chinook helicopter is delivering the sections, which are typically 12m long and 3.6m wide and weigh 3t. Project completion is exptected in September, two months ahead of the original schedule.
