India’s multinational manufacturing company Tata Steel has partnered with Australian semi-modular bridge specialists InQuik.

The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding that will allow Tata Steel to provide InQuik’s modular steel components. InQuik’s steel formworks allow the rapid construction of reinforced concrete bridges. Components can be delivered to the site and then filled with concrete in situ. This can represent a sustainable solution for remote areas, which are disproportionately affected by damage to infrastructure.
