Kiewit Southern has won a US$81 million contract to build a bridge that will help improve freshwater flows in the Everglades National Park in Florida.
The contract was awarded by the US Army Corps of Engineers.
The work involves building a bridge to replace 1.6km of the Tamiami Trail road that acts as a dam and prevents the flow of fresh water.
