Overall completion of Korea's 8.2km Busan Geoje Fixed Link has now passed 75%. The project includes cable-stayed bridges and a record-breaking immersed tube tunnel together with approach bridges and tunnels.
There are two cable-stayed bridges, one with three pylons and the other with two. The 3.2km immersed tube tunnel will carry traffic at 48m below mean water level, making it the world's deepest roadway tunnel.
