The final feasibility study for Bangladesh's new Padma Bridge has selected the Mawa alignment for the new crossing. Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge Authority - a consortium of consultants RPT, NEDECO and Bangladesh Consultant - estimated the cost of the 6km long road bridge at US$935 million.
